Farmhouse

The Malcolm Blue House, also known as the Bethesda farmhouse, is one of Moore County's few remaining early nineteenth century structures. The Federal style house was built around 1825 by Malcolm McMillan Blue, a prominent farmer and community leader, who was active in the historic Bethesda Church Congregation.  The farmhouse is filled with authentic furnishings of everyday life during the 1800s. Visitors get a first-hand feel for what life in the 1800s was about by touring the farmstead.
