One-Day Baseball Clinic

This exciting one-day baseball clinic will help enhance the fundamentals of baseball and allow any skill level player to hone their baseball abilities!  This clinic is for ages 8 – 12.

Jr. Home Run Derby™

Major League Baseball® Jr. Home Run Derby™ powered by @MLBdevelops is a fun and exciting youth competition for talented youngsters to showcase their hitting abilities, with the opportunity of competing at the Finals during MLB® All-Star Week™. Boys and girls are divided into two age divisions: 12U and 14U, and will have the chance to advance through three levels of competition. The Local Champions from both age divisions will advance to the Regional Level, and Regional Champions will advance to the Finals, which will take place during the 2023 MLB® All-Star Week™. All participants should register online at JrHRD.com and plan to bring age verification (copy/picture of birth certificate or similar) to the competition.

Kid-Pitch Baseball

Kid-Pitch Baseball is for kids, ages 9 – 12, who are aging out of Coach-Pitch. Skill level ranges from beginner to experienced.  No matter the level, baseball fundamentals will be a primary focus. Pinecrest All-Star Baseball Camp

The Pinecrest All-Star Baseball Camp is co-sponsored by Southern Pines, Pinehurst, and Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Departments, and run by Jeff Hewitt, Head Baseball Coach of Pinecrest High School. This camp will focus on basic skills and techniques of baseball and is for ages 5 - 12. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt.  To download a Registration Form, click here.

All-Star Sports Camp

At this All-Star Camp, kids will learn the basics of different sports. Each day will be dedicated to teaching one specific sport. Coach-Pitch Baseball

T-Ball

This league introduces your little one, ages 4 – 5, to the game of baseball, and focuses on the very basic fundamentals. Practices and games will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as Saturday mornings.

Youth Flag Football

Flag Football is an exciting league that continues to grow each year. This is a co-ed sport for ages 6-8, 9-12 and 13-15. Games and practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Our 6-8 age division will be at Colonial Heights. Our 9-12 and 13-15 age divisions will practice at Colonial Heights but games will be played in Aberdeen, Southern Pines, and Pinehurst.

Dates: August 28th - end of October

Girls Youth Volleyball

Girls, ages 7 – 14, will learn the rules and develop important skills for the game of volleyball! Age divisions will consist of 7-10 year olds and 11-14 year olds. Practices and games will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for the 11-14 age division while the 7-10 age division will be on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Town of Aberdeen Parks & Recreation Department's Fee Policy 

The Parks and Recreation Department is an agency of the Town of Aberdeen and receives municipal tax revenue paid by residents living inside the corporate limits of the Town.  Others who live outside the corporate limits are charged a higher rate for participation in our programs because they do not pay Town taxes.

The policy for application of this fee differential is as follows:

You must live inside the corporate limits of Aberdeen at the time of your registration in order to be charged the Town of Aberdeen resident rate.  All others will be charged the non-resident rate.

Refunds of fees paid for most activities will be made under certain conditions.  For allowed refunds, there may be a refund fee of up to $5.00.  Refunds are not available after the activity registration deadline except for substantial hardships.  Complete refund policy is available upon request from the Parks and Recreation Department.
