Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate from an accredited high school or have a GED
- At least 21 years old
- Honorable discharge, if a veteran
- Must be a citizen of the United States at the time of application
- Must possess a valid NC Driver's License
- Must be of good moral character, have no felony convictions and committed no incidents of domestic violence.
- Successful Completion of The NC Basic Law Enforcement Training Program
- Pass a Pre-Employment background investigation
- Pass a Pre-Employment Oral Review
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Pass a Pre-Employment Psychological Evaluation
- Pass a Pre-Employment Physical Fitness Test (POPAT)
- Pass a Pre-Employment physical screening
