NCDOT has rolled out a new website to explain proposed improvements on U.S. 15-501 and U.S. 1, find it at
https://www.ncdot.gov/projects/us1-15-501-moore/ NCDOT has multiple ways for public input:
- The N.C Department of Transportation is asking the public for its participation in an online questionnaire to help the NCDOT project team understand the top concerns for the U.S. 15-501 and U.S. 1 corridors.
- The public can also submit comments via email or by mail to:

Comments received by Oct. 20, 2017, will be reviewed and incorporated, where feasible, into the next phase of design.
- Public Meetings/Open House to provide an overview of the proposal, including an explanation of how Synchronized Streets work.
