Starting March 9th, the Town will be starting to drain one water storage tank per week. This is only so we can perform routine interior inspections and washouts.

There are no issues with the tanks, this is a yearly process to make sure our customers are provided with quality drinking water. During this process you may have lower or higher water pressure than normal. Also due to pressure fluctuations you may experience cloudy water at times.

The following is a schedule of dates areas will be affected.

• March 9th: Tank #3 - Areas affected Hwy. 5 from Saunders Blvd. to Dawkins St.
• March 16th: Tank #2 - All areas from Montford St. & US1 North and 15/501 North to Johnson St. 
• March 23rd: Tank #4 - Devonshire Trail starting at house #915 including Garden, Hardister, Midmar and everything on Hwy. 211 E. to the Hoke County line.
