Downtown Associate Community

On September 4, 2015 the Town of Aberdeen was one of four communities selected to participate in the Downtown Associate Community program. This is a new initiative of the NC Department of Commerce’s Main Street Center. The program will provide the selected communities with the organizational foundation necessary for long-term downtown economic development success and will serve as a pathway as the Town seeks to move into NC Main Street designation.
