NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
The Town of Aberdeen has turned a 32 acre tract of land located at the corner of Saunders Blvd and Bethesda Road into a wonderful park called “Ray’s Mill Park.” The park is for individuals, families, or school classes.
There are many things you can do at Ray’s Mill Park, such as the following:
- Fish off the dam or brand new pier
- Walk on the paved trail that is 1,000 linear feet
- Picnic or hold a class in the educational shelter
- Kayak or canoe on the 14 acre pond
- Sit and read a book
- Observe the flora and fauna along with the many birds that frequent the park
A Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of Ray’s Mill Park will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at 837 Saunders Blvd, Aberdeen, NC.
The public is invited to attend this event.
