Updates From the Town of Aberdeen

The public shelter located at New Century Middle School in Cameron, NC has closed as of February 17th. All evacuees located at this shelter have either been returned to their homes or taken to more appropriate facilities at this time.

The Aberdeen Emergency Operations Center will be shutting down February 18th at 5:00 PM. All Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Law Enforcement agencies will resume with normal operations at that time.

The Town of Aberdeen Mayor Robert A. Farrell has rescinded the State of Emergency issued on February 16, 2015 at this time.

The Town of Aberdeen Government offices have reopened on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM

The Town of Aberdeen Mayor Robert A. Farrell encourages all citizens to be vigilant of the dangerously cold weather for the remainder of the week and to take appropriate action to ensure their safety. Emergency services will be available 24 hours per day and for any and all emergencies dial 911. For all non-emergency situations, please call 910-944-7888.
