Public Works has started to drain water tank #2, which is located on Washington Street, for repairs and also to repaint the interior and exterior. The timeline for this scope of work should take about 12 weeks depending on the weather. During this process there could be periods of lower or higher than normal water pressures. Also with the changes of pressures you can expect to see cloudy or discolored water at times. Areas affected with this work are all residents and businesses on both sides of US 1 from Downtown Aberdeen north to the Southern Pines/Aberdeen Town limit.
