The Town of Aberdeen invites everyone to enjoy history of the military and see a living military camp on Saturday, November 8th from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Aberdeen Recreation Center. The Aberdeen Recreation Center is located just off US 1 at 301 Lake Park Crossing.

The event will include a historic display of military uniforms and equipment provided by Mayor Robert Farrell, photographic displays reflecting the history of Camp Mackall provided by Tom MacCallum, and the Civil War Living History Group will have a historic camp site set up displaying what a camp looked like during the Civil War. The camp will include tents, uniforms, utensils, weapons, and other items that were used during the Civil War. The Civil War Living History Group will be answering any questions from the public about life during the Civil War Era.
