Due to the projected inclement weather tomorrow, Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Department (APRD) has decided to cancel the Annual Christmas Parade.  Everyone is disappointed, but APRD wants to ensure the safety of the children, adults,  vehicles, and  animals that were scheduled to participate. According to the Police Radios and the Weather Channels,  the safety of the participants would be in jeopardy with the heavy amounts of rain during the Parade.

Plans are to reschedule a Parade in the first quarter of 2014 and Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Department hopes you will plan to participate in that one as well. All float sponsorships will be transferred and honored at the rescheduled Parade.
