Boil Water Advisory Has Been Lifted

The Boil Water Notice has been lifted for the west side of US Highway 1 from Forest Hills to TJ Maxx as of Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 2:45 p.m.

BOIL YOUR WATER ADVISORY

Broad Plex, a fiber optical contractor with the School System, has drilled through a Town of Aberdeen water main on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. The area affected is the west side of US Highway 1 from Forest Hills to TJ Maxx.  While work is being performed, there is a possibility that some customers may have experienced low water pressure, cloudy water, or an interruption of service.

If you experience low water pressure, your water is discolored, or your service is interrupted, please follow the instructions below.

Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one (1) minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing and food preparation. UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
