Emergency Repair to Tank 2

Due to unexpected emergency repairs, the Town will be draining the water storage tank on Washington Street behind KFC.

During this work period you may experience higher or lower water pressure than normal.  Also, with the changing of water pressure there is a possibility of cloudy or discolored water at times. If you experience any problems you can call the Public Works Department anytime at 944-7012. Please be patient with us until we have this problem resolved. The work should only take a couple of days weather permitting.

Work is scheduled to begin the first week of April and should be completed within a week. Areas affected will start at US Hwy 1 and Peach Street, Bethesda Road from Glendale north and continue north to the end of town towards Southern Pines and Pinehurst.
