This Saturday, April 22nd Moore County Solid Waste, Keep More County Beautiful, Pinehurst and Aberdeen Police Departments, and Moore County Sheriff's Office will be focusing on littering in and around Highway 5.

Saturday’s Operation is in response to multiple complaints regarding the amount of roadside debris on Highway 5 between Aberdeen and Pinehurst. A group of volunteers from Keep More County Beautiful will be collecting trash. The event is scheduled to take place between the hours of 9:00 and 11:00 am.

Volunteers wishing to participate in the cleanup will be meeting at 8:45 am in the Food Lion parking lot: Pinehurst Plaza, NC, 1680 NC-5 #90, Aberdeen, NC 28315.
