Looking for a way to serve your community? The Town of Aberdeen is seeking applicants to serve on a newly formed Board of Adjustment. The Board of Adjustment (BOA) hears and decides appeals from the decisions of the Land Use Administrator and rules on Variance requests (requests to vary ordinance provisions based on unnecessary hardships that may result from carrying out the strict letter of the zoning ordinance). The BOA meets on an as-needed basis; meetings typically begin at 6:00 pm. Training will be provided. Application forms may be found here.
