The Aberdeen Police Department is taking part in the 33rd Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. We are encouraging the citizens from the Aberdeen communities to take part with us in taking back our communities on this night. By participating in this event we are uniting together taking a stand against crime, drugs, and violence within our communities.
The Aberdeen Police Department is asking for the communities to turn on their outdoor lights and go meet and greet their neighbors. By getting out and talking to your neighbors, it gives your community an opportunity to get to know the ones you may not know and to talk with the ones you already know. By doing this we are banding together to keep our community safe. The Police Department will be out looking for communities taking part so we can join in and answer any questions the citizens may have. If you know that your community will be hosting an event please let us know if you would like for us to attend. You can contact the Police Department at 910-944-9721.
