Christmas is right around the corner and what better way to bring in the holiday season than with the 2014 Reindeer Fun Run! Part of the Sandhills Race Series, this fantastic event will be held on December 6th in downtown Aberdeen and will include live music, awards, Kids Zone & Santa! The proceeds from the Fun Run will be benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Sandhills.

The schedule of events includes:
9:00 a.m. – 12ks of Christmas Run
9:15 a.m. – 5k Reindeer Fun Run/Walk
10:30 a.m. – Kids ½ Mile Egg Nog Jog

A large number of participants and spectators are anticipated during the morning hours and some streets that are included in the routes will be closed for the duration of the race. While some streets will have one lane open during the race, leaving and entering driveways may not be possible while runners are on the Route. Planning your morning with this information in mind will help to avoid conflicts and inconveniences. It is expected that all roads will be re-opened no later than 12:00 noon.
