The Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Department is seeking applicants for two advisory boards. These boards assist the department by giving input and feedback regarding future projects, programs, and growth.

The first board is the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. This board will assist in the overall direction of the department. Two seats are currently available on this six person committee, which will meet quarterly, on the fourth Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. Board members will serve two year terms.

The second board is the Malcolm Blue Farm Advisory Committee. We are seeking 6 individuals to serve on this new board. This committee will help the department as we begin to develop and run programming to be held at the Malcolm Blue Farm. Previous experience with the facility is preferred.
