The Aberdeen Historic Preservation Commission must say good-bye to Mr. Joel Stancil, who has faithfully served two consecutive terms on the Commission. The Town seeks a replacement to serve a four year term beginning in June of this year. The candidate will be appointed by the Board of Commissioners and should reside within Aberdeen’s National Register Historic District and have special interest, experience or education in history, architecture, archaeology or related fields.
