The Town of Aberdeen is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the full-time position of Grounds Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department. This position will perform manual work to ensure community plantings, beds and grounds are well maintained, attractive and healthy. This position will also install, maintain and repair irrigation systems as needed. Basic knowledge and ability to operate landscaping tools and power equipment is essential. This position will also help with street repairs, street signs and drainage issues.

Interested applicants should possess the following requirements:
• Must possess a valid NC Driver’s License & have a clean driving history
• Must pass a Pre-employment Drug Screen & Physical
• Must pass a Background Investigation
• Must obtain Pesticide License within 1 year of employment
