Open to ages 5-12, this camp runs during the week of Moore County Schools’ spring break week. Camp is April 17-21 from 7:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Campers will take field trips around the county and Raleigh and many other fun activities. Children are required to wear closed toe shoes through the duration of camp and must bring their own lunch, snacks, and water. To download a registration form, click here.
Registration fees are $80 for residents and $120 for non-residents. Registration deadline is April 14 or until full.
Aberdeen Parks and Recreation is offering eight weeks of fun and excitement for children ages 5 - 12. Campers will play group games, participate in arts and crafts, listen to educational guest speakers, go swimming and bowling, and visit Sandhills Gymnastics. Create your own masterpieces with Nichole Torres at the Aberdeen Recreation Center. Camp is for children ages 5 – 12. Celebrate America’s Birthday at Aberdeen Lake Park with an evening of live entertainment, food vendors, and activities for all ages. Admission to the park is free and children can purchase a $5.00 wristband, which allows them unlimited access to the Rock Climbing wall, inflatable slide, bounce houses, obstacle course, and much more.
Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and bring family and friends to enjoy one of the largest and most exciting fireworks displays in the area! Please no pets, alcoholic beverages, personal fireworks, or coolers.

Join us the third Friday in July through October at Aberdeen Lake Park to enjoy family movies on the big screen. Admission is free and concessions will be available for purchase.

Kids ages 10-14 are welcome to get their creativity on with guided art projects or free range self-expression with instructor Nicole Torres. Join us on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. at the Recreation Center. Registration fees are $14 for residents and $21 for non-residents. Costs cover supplies.
Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Department has rods and reels available for rent inside the Aberdeen Recreation Center Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The rental is free for residents and $3 for non-residents. NC state law requires ages 16 and up to have a fishing license. A 10 day license is available at Wal-Mart for $5. Ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Town of Aberdeen Parks & Recreation Department's Fee Policy
The Parks and Recreation Department is an agency of the Town of Aberdeen and receives municipal tax revenue paid by residents living inside the corporate limits of the Town. Others who live outside the corporate limits are charged a higher rate for participation in our programs because they do not pay Town taxes.
The policy for application of this fee differential is as follows:
You must live inside the corporate limits of Aberdeen at the time of your registration in order to be charged the Town of Aberdeen resident rate. All others will be charged the non-resident rate.
Refunds of fees paid for most activities will be made under certain conditions. For allowed refunds, there may be a refund fee of up to $5.00. Refunds are not available after the activity registration deadline except for substantial hardships. Complete refund policy is available upon request from the Parks and Recreation Department.
