The
Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission is
composed of 6 members appointed by the Mayor and
Town Council. Initial terms are 2 years, staggered
to provide continuity on the committee. The
committee serves in an advisory capacity to
department staff and the Town Council, providing
recommendations on parks and recreation programs in
Aberdeen. The committee also reviews and makes
recommendations on public recreation facilities and
provides input on long range plans related to parks
and recreation.
Monthly
meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month
at 6:00 p.m. in the Aberdeen Recreation Station. If
