The Appearance and
Beautification Commission meets the
2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Aberdeen
Town Hall. The Appearance and Beautification
Commission consists of seven members, all of whom must
be residents of the town planning jurisdiction or
operators of businesses within such jurisdiction.
The purpose of this commission is to initiate, promote
and assist in the implementation of programs of general
community beautification in the town and its environs.
The commission also seeks to coordinate the activities
of individuals, agencies, organizations, groups, public
and private, whose plans, activities and programs bear
upon the appearance of the town and its environs.
And lastly, this commission also directs the attention
of the Town Board to ways in which the Town government
may take direct action affecting the appearance of the
town and its environs.
